Outdoor for pupils with special needs
Kayaks, bikes, hammocks, climbing, fire and fishing gear. School-in-Nature has its own bus and trailer, so it easily can get out into 'the big outdoor classroom'.
School-in-Nature is based on interdisciplinary cooperation between teachers, occupational therapists and educators.
Nature provides many opportunities for different challenges and opportunities for learning and training than those available to pupils in the classroom.
Activities, sensory stimulation and social interaction are based on nature's components.

School in Nature is part of the Dybkaer Special School.
The school's core mission is to create the best possible conditions for the pupils - with the potential and challenges they each have. To support this, they work according to three values: appreciation, fellowship and growth.
