Institutions with Outdoor Profile

Development and implementation of outdoor activities in the professional routines at social housing and activity institutions

The overall aim of the project Institutions with Outdoor Profile was to inspire staff at residential and activity facilities to increase the use of outdoor space in their daily lives and to create a basis for skills development and knowledge sharing for the benefit of both staff and citizens.

The sub-goals of the project were to:

  • Implement a tailor-made course for three offers in cooperation with DAI
  • Develop local action plans that strengthen capacity building in each service in collaboration with the Outdoor Institute
  • Create a basis for targeted knowledge sharing and exchange of experience across the municipality's residential and activity services in the social field

Organizer

The project group consisted of Silkeborg Municipality's Social Department, the Outdoor Institute and the Danish Workers' Sports Federation.
